Kalamazoo hospital leader to resign at end of year

Randall Stasik, president and chief executive of Borgess Health Alliance, plans to resign at the end of the year, the company said. Stasik, 53, who joined Borgess in 1988 and has been president and CEO since February 1, 2001, said he will remain in the post through the end of the year to help with a smooth transition to new leadership. "It was a very difficult decision for me," Stasik said August 25, 2004, when contacted by the Kalamazoo Gazette. "But I feel it's best for me and my family." He said he had no immediate plans after he resigns other than to look for another position "in or out of healthcare." ...
