Humana Expands Medicare Coverage in Yavapai County

Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) announced the expansion of its Medicare presence in Yavapai County. Beginning on Nov. 15, seniors in this county can enroll in the local Humana Choice PPO plans. The 2008 expansion, approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, builds upon the other Medicare plans currently available in the area, and focuses on providing greater choice to meet the changing needs of seniors in the market.
The Humana Choice PPO plans provide seniors with affordable alternatives to original Medicare or a Medicare supplement plan. Members have the flexibility to select a provider or facility of choice either in or out of network, although out-of-network...
