70% of Americans Rate Healthcare Experience High -- Rates Improving

National Research Corporation (NASDAQ:NRCI) released a first-ever National Health Satisfaction Index which rates the quality of healthcare consumers received during their last hospital, emergency room or clinic visit. The Index indicates that 70 percent of Americans surveyed, rate the quality of healthcare they received during their last visit as either, "very good" or "excellent". Thirty-six percent rate the quality of healthcare as "very good" while 34 percent rate it as "excellent". This is compared to three percent who rated their care as "poor". The Index is based upon a twenty-year history of consumer health opinion and is constructed with a rolling three-year trend.
