Survey shows number of those searching Internet for health information grows

Despite a decrease over the last 3 years in the percentage of online U.S. adults who have ever searched the Internet for health-related information (from 80% in 2002 to 72% now), the actual number of adults who have ever searched for health information online (Harris Interactive refers to them as cyberchondriacs) has grown due to an increase in the percentage of U.S. adults who go online (from 66% in 2002 to 74% in 2005).
