Disability Management Employer Coalition names Marcia Carruthers new CEO

The Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), a leading developer of integrated disability management strategies in all disability and absence related employer programs, announced its board of directors has named Marcia Carruthers to serve as the association's chief executive officer.

Carruthers, who has served as chief operating officer since she co-founded DMEC in 1992, will begin her term as DMEC CEO on January 1, 2007.

Carruthers started her career in 1985 with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she served as assistant risk manager. At UCSD she participated in one of the nation's first coordinated disability management...
