Keystone Health Plan Central lowers premiums for seniors

Members of Keystone Health Plan Central's seniorBlue Medicare+Choice plan will see as much as a 12.5% decrease in their monthly premiums starting March 1, 2004.

The premium reductions are a direct response to the 2003 Medicare Modernization Act passed by Congress late last year that increased federal reimbursements to health plans under the Medicare+Choice program. More than 19,000 seniors in 15 Pennsylvania counties are enrolled in seniorBlue, the largest Medicare+Choice plan in the region. seniorBlue members will receive written correspondence from Keystone Health Plan Central documenting the premium changes.
