Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida offers flu shots to Medicare Advantage members

Flu shots will also be available to the general public at a cost of $25. The shots will be offered at convenient locations statewide.
"The flu vaccine works in preventing the flu," said John Montgomery, MD, MPH, vice-president of senior care solutions, BCBSF. "Looking at our own member information from previous years, the majority of our members who receive flu shots do not report any flu-related illnesses during flu season."
