T.A.H.U. Tackles Problem of ''Working Uninsured''

The Texas Association of Health Underwriters today said a two-sentence change in the Texas Insurance Code could result in bringing health insurance to a significant number of Texans who have jobs but not insurance.

"The demographers call these people the 'working uninsured' but they're more than just statistics. Texans deserve health insurance and our legislative recommendation will go a long way in accomplishing that," said Carolyn Goodwin, CBC, of Dallas, president of the statewide association of employee benefit professionals.
