Consumers back Health Savings Accounts, new poll shows

More than seven out of ten Americans with private health insurance have a favorable opinion of Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), a new approach to financing healthcare created by the Congress last year as a part of the Medicare Modernization Act.

Furthermore, their positive reaction cuts across the political and ideological spectrum.

Those are among the results of a new consumer survey released by America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
