Stanford Hospital selects IntraOp's intraoperative electron radiation therapy device

IntraOp Medical Corporation (IOPM), a provider of products for treating and eradicating cancer, announced that Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Stanford, California, have ordered a Mobetron, a portable, self-shielding device that delivers intraoperative electron radiation therapy to patients in surgery. The system is planned to be installed in Spring 2007. Stanford Hospital & Clinics is known for advanced patient care, particularly for the treatment of rare, complex disorders, including cancer.
