Stanford Hospital selects IntraOp's intraoperative electron radiation therapy device



October 9th, 2006

IntraOp Medical Corporation (IOPM), a provider of products for treating and eradicating cancer, announced that Stanford Hospital & Clinics in Stanford, California, have ordered a Mobetron, a portable, self-shielding device that delivers intraoperative electron radiation therapy to patients in surgery.

The system is planned to be installed in Spring 2007.

Stanford Hospital & Clinics is known for advanced patient care, particularly for the treatment of rare, complex disorders, including cancer. Stanford Comprehensive Cancer Center, has more than 240 researchers and clinicians doing work on the most critical issues in cancer research and medicine...
