The Behavioral Center of Michigan (BCOM) broke ground recently for construction of its latest addition, a partial day hospital. John D. Russell, BCOM president and chief executive officer, said the company's "attention to providing the highest quality experience will set us apart from other mental health care institutions and is a service that has been desired locally for some time." Russell added that the partial day hospital will afford patients an opportunity to more effectively reintegrate to their normal activities of daily living subsequent to an acute-care hospitalization.
