National Library of Medicine adopts Vivisimo search platform to access health information

Vivisimo, a provider of enterprise search software and service, announced its selection by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to enable searching on the NLM Web site. The NLM, the largest biomedical library in the world, will use Vivisimo to provide quick and easy access to information on linked Web pages. Vivisimo will also enable search functionality for the NLM's consumer health web sites, MedlinePlus and MedlinePlus en espanol, aggregators of medical and health information from government agencies and other authoritative organizations.
