The American College of Radiology (ACR) stands ready to help providers comply with the UnitedHealthcare quality initiative to adopt accreditation programs for medical imaging facilities, effective March 1, 2008. UnitedHealthcare has recognized ACR accreditation as a means to ensure quality diagnostic imaging services nationwide. The expanded ACR Web site accreditation section features extensive information to help facilities start the accreditation process and answer pertinent questions.
