Over Half of Physicians Prefer Two Drugs in a Single Pill Combination for the Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease

Decision Resources, Inc., one of the world's leading research and advisory firms for pharmaceutical and healthcare issues, finds that 56% of primary care physicians and 53% of cardiologists said they would like more than 2 drugs in a single pill combination, according to the new report entitled Combination Cardiovascular Drugs: A Survey of PCPs, Cardiologists, and MCO Pharmacy Directors. When triple-drug single pill combinations were considered, physicians desired the combination of ACEI, beta blocker, and statin.
