Advamed Backs Senate Bill Delaying Imaging Payments Cuts

AdvaMed President and CEO Stephen J. Ubl issued the following statement today after the introduction of the Access to Medicare Imaging Act of 2007 (S. 1338) by Sens. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and Gordon Smith (R-OR):

"AdvaMed applauds Sens. Rockefeller and Smith for introducing legislation calling for a two-year freeze on the significant reductions to Medicare reimbursement for imaging services in the physician office and ambulatory care settings that took effect earlier this year.
