Studies from University of Melbourne yield new data on health policy

Fresh data on health policy are presented in the report "Unemployment, contraceptive behaviour and reproductive outcomes among young Australian women." In this recently published article, scientists in Australia conducted a study "To examine whether unemployment and partnership affects pregnancy, live births and terminations among young Australian women. Unemployment has conventionally been used in epidemiological studies to examine the health effects of loss of opportunity, material resources and satisfaction associated with work."
