In 2011, the first wave of Baby Boomers will turn 65 and become eligible for Medicare. Over the course of the next decade, the number of Medicare beneficiaries will continue to swell, reaching 61 million by 2020 and 78 million by 2030, according to The Kaiser Family Foundation.
