Complex Spinal Surgery Offers Advantages for Elderly Patients Suffering From Spinal Stenosis and Other Back Conditions

"The United States has the highest rate of spine surgery in the world. As baby boomers age, the need for complex spinal surgery will only continue to increase," says Dr. Neel Anand, a leading spine surgeon practicing at the Spine Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, citing a recent study reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
