U.S. merchant banker appointed to board of Australian biotechnology company

The Board of Australian Cancer Technology (AustCancer) (ACU) announced the appointment of U.S.-based merchant banker Alexander L. Cappello as a non-executive director of the company.

Cappello is the chairman and chief executive officer of the Cappello Group, Inc., a global boutique merchant bank specializing in the private placement of capital and corporate advisory services for public companies with market capitalization between $100 million and $20 billion.
