NovaVision receives $20 million Series C financing

NovaVision, Inc. secured $20 million in series C funding, which will enable the company to continue expanding the national availability of NovaVision VRT Vision Restoration Therapy, the first U.S. Food & Drug Administration-cleared, patented, noninvasive medical device that can enhance vision in people who have been left partially blind due to stroke or brain trauma.

Chicago Growth Partners led the round, which also included other first-time investors Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation and Oakwood Medical Investors. Also participating in the financing were existing investors Tullis-Dickerson & Co., Inc., Noro-Moseley Partners and Crossbow Ventures.
