Studies from City Hospital yield new data on hypertension prevention

Data detailed in "Effects of "newer" and "older" antihypertensive drugs on hemorrheological, platelet, and endothelial factors. A substudy of the Anglo-Scandinavian Cardiac Outcomes Trial" have been presented. "Different antihypertensive therapies may exert benefits via not only a reduction in blood pressure but also in improving the risk of thrombosis.
