American Scientific Resources Announces Plans for Annual Meeting of Shareholders

American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ASFX), announced that its annual meeting of shareholders will commence on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 5pm EST at the offices of the Southridge Investment Group, 800 Third Avenue, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10022.

As of November, the Company informed their shareholders of record, via US mail, of their intent to hold the annual meeting, and urged them to recommend a vote for the election of directors and to ratify the engagement of an independent auditor.
