Alcon (NYSE: ACL) and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) have joined forces to spread the word about seasonal allergies and treatment through media outlets today. As the spring allergy season comes into full force, it is important for allergy sufferers to understand their treatment options. Seasonal allergies affect about 40 to 50 million people in the United States alone and are one of the top causes of absenteeism from work and school.
"There are some new concepts and new treatments for the springtime problems people are already experiencing," said Bobby Lanier, M.D. and clinical professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center....
