Dr. Peter Ringrose joins board of drug-discovery company

Astex Technology, a fragment-based drug-discovery and -development company, announced the appointment of Dr. Peter Ringrose to its board.

Ringrose brings more than 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and, according to the company, will strengthen Astex's board as the company prepares to take the first of its oncology drugs into the clinic during 2005.
