Scientists at University of Peradeniya, Department of Psychiatry publish new data on suicide

A report, 'Psychological autopsy study of suicide in three rural and semi-rural districts of Sri Lanka,' is newly published data in Social Psychiatry and Psychiatric Epidemiology. "Knowledge concerning the epidemiology of suicide in Sri Lanka is limited despite its suicide rates being amongst the highest in the world. To examine the characteristics of a large sample of Sri Lankan suicides to inform approaches to prevention," researchers in Peradeniya, Sri Lanka report.
