Investigators at Laval Hospital, Department of Cardiac Surgery have published new data on cardiology

Researchers detail in 'Age cut-off for the loss of benefit from bilateral internal thoracic artery grafting,' new data in cardiology. In this recent article published in the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, scientists in Canada conducted a study "To identify the age-related benefit of single and bilateral internal thoracic artery (ITA) grafting on long-term cardiac-related survival in patients who survived from primary isolated coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
