Studies from University of Dusseldorf reveal new findings on renal disease

According to recent research published in the journal Proteomics Clinical Applications, "Adequate kidney function is crucial in sustaining vertebrate homeostasis. Certain diseases can diminish renal function and lead to end-stage renal disease."
