Cleveland Clinic reports research in gene therapy

2011 JAN 9 -- New investigation results, 'Tumor ablation and nanotechnology,' are detailed in a study published in Molecular Pharmaceutics. "Next to surgical resection, tumor ablation is a commonly used intervention in the treatment of solid tumors. Tumor ablation methods include thermal therapies, photodynamic therapy, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) producing agents," investigators in the United States report.
