Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome

SSR and RRIV tests useful in dysautonomia assessment

A pair of electrophysiological tests are suitable for dysautonomia assessment in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS).

In a study conducted by researchers in Poland, the "sympathetic skin response (SSR) and the R-R interval variation (RRIV) tests" were examined "in 34 OSAS patients and in 32 healthy controls."
