Utility of nailfold video-capillaroscopy reviewed

The utility of nailfold video-capillaroscopy in the diagnosis of rheumatic diseases has been reviewed.

"The Raynaud phenomenon (RP) is the most common and significant clinical condition supporting microvascular analysis as soon as possible," scientists in Italy explained. "Microvascular involvement is a key feature of RP, and several rheumatic diseases are characterized by the presence of the RP."
