Hong Kong patent granted for RapiScan

Cozart, plc, announced that the Patents Registry of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has granted the patent for the screening device and method of screening an immunoassay test in relation to the Cozart RapiScan hand-held instrument.

The Cozart RapiScan system comprises an oral fluid collection swab and a test cartridge, which evaluates an oral fluid sample for the presence of drugs of abuse. The cartridge is slotted into the hand-held instrument which times, interprets, stores, and prints the results.
