In a recent study, refractive surgeons in China evaluated the "predictability, stability and safety of LASIK for high myopia using laser treatment on both the flap undersurface and bed (both-sided LASIK)."
A total of "121 eyes of 63 patients underwent flap undersurface and bed LASIK for high myopia," noted L.W. Li and coauthors working at Kunming Eye Hospital. "Postoperative uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA), refraction, and topography were evaluated up to 12 months."
