Study 1: The addition of intrathecal morphine to remifentanil infusion enhances postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing off-pump heart bypass surgery. In a "prospective, randomized, controlled, blinded clinical study," anesthesiologists in Turkey assessed "the combination of intrathecal morphine and remifentanil infusion with isoflurane in off-pump coronary artery surgery, with a focus on postoperative analgesia and fast-tracking."
