Plasma N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide is key correlate of vascular endothelial function

In a large community-based sample, a conservative strategy relating several biomarkers to vascular endothelial function identified plasma N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide as a key correlate of mean flow under basal conditions and of flow-mediated dilation in response to forearm cuff occlusion.
