Competitive Technologies reports Q2 net loss of $0.6 million

Competitive Technologies, Inc., (CTT) announced a net loss of $0.6 million, or $0.09 per share, for its fiscal second quarter ended January 31, 2006. This compares to net income of $4 million, or $0.54 per diluted share, for the second quarter of the prior fiscal year. Retained royalties for the quarter ended January 31, 2006, were $1.2 million, a decrease of $5.5 million, or 83%, compared to $6.7 million of retained royalties for the same period in the prior year.
