WayPoint Biomedical, Global Informatics form joint entity to market card-based EMR system

WayPoint Biomedical Holdings, Inc. and Laguna Hills, California-based Global Informatics Technology, Inc. have completed and signed the definitive documents to form their new joint venture, World Wide Medical Systems, LLC (WWMS). In addition to completing the joint venture agreement, $7.5 million in initial capital was secured to fund Global's manufacturing, and production capabilities, along with providing the working capital needed for WayPoint to begin forming the corporate operating structure of World Wide Medical Systems.
