Cambrex and Profos announce distribution agreement

Following the successful addition of the Profos EndoTrap family of endotoxin removal products to the Cambrex Bio Science Walkersville, Inc., endotoxin detection product line, for distribution in the United States, Profos AG has agreed to extend the geographic scope of the agreement under which Cambrex Bio Science Walkersville will be the sole distributor for the EndoTrap product group on a worldwide basis.

EndoTrap is a new affinity matrix for the efficient removal of bacterial endotoxins from aqueous solutions. EndoTrap comprises high-specificity ligand molecules derived from bacteriophages with exceptional binding affinity for endotoxins, linked to sepharose beads....
