Biomedical diagnostics company ThromboVision receives first DeBakey Life Science Award

ThromboVision, Inc., a Houston, Texas-based biomedical diagnostics company, has won the first Michael E. DeBakey Life Science Award, which was presented to a Houston-area company with "leading-edge commercial potential." ThromboVision was chosen from a field of 18 for the award, which carries a $50,000 cash prize to assist in propelling the company's technology toward commercial success. The award was presented to ThromboVision's president and CEO, Edward R.
