Brucellosis



Accuracy - another important factor that influences the choice of test.

Brucellosis is mainly diagnosed using serology and immunoassays. The immunoassays may be divided into conventional and primary binding assays. Conventional assays primarily include different types of agglutination tests as well as complement fixation test. Primary binding assays include ELISAs in different forms (I-ELISA, C-ELISA) and fluorescence polarisation assay (FPA).
