Current study results from the report, "Video assisted thoracoscopic surgery and lobectomy, sublobar resection, radiofrequency ablation, and stereotactic radiosurgery: advances and controversies in the management of early stage non-small cell lung cancer," have been published. According to recent research from the United States, "Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer related mortality in the United States. The fastest growing segment of the population has been the elderly, who frequently have other significant co-morbidities."
