Findings from Thomas Jefferson University provide new insights into parotidectomy

Investigators publish new data in the report 'Superficial musculoaponeurotic system elevation and fat graft reconstruction after superficial parotidectomy.' According to a study from the United States, "Elevation of the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) with or without fat graft interposition during superficial parotidectomy prevents a concave facial deformity and Frey's syndrome. Retrospective, case-control study."
