Diabetics Twice as Likely to Have Hearing Loss; New York HearUSA Centers to Offer Free Hearing Screening and Diabetes Video in March

All HearUSA (AMEX:EAR) company-owned hearing care centers in New York State will be offering free hearing-loss screenings, along with a free 80-minute Living With Diabetes video produced by the American Diabetes Association, to anyone with diabetes during the entire month of March.

People with diabetes are twice as likely to have hearing loss than those who do not have diabetes, according to a National Institutes of Health landmark study. The study's researchers recommended that all men and women with diabetes have their hearing tested.
