Studies from University of Edinburgh Have Provided New Data on Medical Research

2011 SEP 18 -- Research findings, "The evolution of laparoscopic antireflux surgery and its influence on postoperative stay," are discussed in a new report. "Laparoscopic fundoplication is an established treatment for refractory gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. This study aims to compare the outcome of two laparoscopic antireflux techniques in a regional specialist unit," investigators in Edinburgh, United Kingdom report.
