Studies from Baptist Hospital of Miami Have Provided New Information about Papillary Cancer

2011 OCT 2 -- Current study results from the report, "Sensitivity of fine-needle aspiration for papillary carcinoma of the thyroid correlates with tumor size," have been published. According to the authors of a study from Miami, Florida, "Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) of the thyroid for papillary carcinomas is highly sensitive. We sought to determine if the sensitivity of FNA for papillary carcinoma is correlated with the size of the tumor."
