Hologic Announces Denial of Conceptus' Request for Injunction in Patent Infringement Suit

2012 JAN 29 -- Hologic, Inc. (Hologic or the Company) (NASDAQ: HOLX), a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium diagnostics products, medical imaging systems and surgical products dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of women, announced that Conceptus, Inc.'s (Conceptus) request for an injunction barring future sales of Hologic's Adiana permanent contraception (Adiana) system has been denied and that no royalty will be due to Conceptus on such sales.
