"A patient with genetic hemochromatosis presented with a clinical picture suggesting malignancy and computed tomography evidence of lesions in the right colon and liver," researchers in England reported.
"Colonoscopy failed to confirm the suspected diagnosis. Blood and stool cultures were positive for Y. enterocolitica infection," explained J. Crosbie and colleagues, University Newcastle Upon Tyne.
