New gastric carcinomas prevented by eradicating Helicobacter pylori after endoscopic resection

According to recent research from Japan, "A causal relationship between H. pylori infection and gastric cancer has been established. A nonrandomized study has shown eradication of H. pylori after ER of early gastric cancer inhibits development of new carcinomas."
