Research conducted at Seoul National University, Medical Department has updated our knowledge about discectomy

According to recent research published in the Journal of Korean Medical Science, "Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) is currently the standard treatment for cervical disc disease. Some patients wish to be treated with a less invasive method, because of their social/physical situations."
