Recent studies from the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada add new data to breast cancer research

Investigators in the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada have published new breast cancer data.

Study 1: Breast cancer clinicopathologic response to primary chemotherapy could be predicted by reductions in magnetic resonance (MR) imaging-determined size of the primary tumor.

In a recent report published in the journal Radiology, researchers in England conducted a study "to prospectively document changes in contrast agent kinetics in patients with primary breast cancer treated with systemic chemotherapy after 1 or 2 cycles and to determine whether kinetic measures can be used to predict final clinicopathologic response.
