Researchers from Italy, Netherlands and Switzerland report details of new studies and findings in the area of obesity

Study 1: Heliosphere Bag is successful in the treatment of severe obesity but system failure and patient discomfort rates are high.
According to recent research from Italy, "Various intragastric balloons have been used in obese patients for temporary weight loss. Recently, a new balloon, the Heliosphere Bag, was proposed. In a preliminary study, we evaluated the safety and efficacy of this device."
